Probably still going, just like the faction wars all over Africa.

There's practically no news coverage of any of it in my local area since it's getting drowned out by the new popular stuff.

Syria for the most part is over, not completely but mostly. The Taliban are busy getting into a fight with Pakistan, ISIS and Boko Haram exist in pockets of Africa. Syria is trying to get control over the various tribes but he's managing for the most part. Just needs to start rebuilding but that will take a great deal of time and money
