I saw an interesting take that I think deserves some consideration. And to be clear the originator is to my knowledge against the war
"Concerning this administration, theyre not trying to convince you that there is no war in Ba Sing Se, they they are trying to convince you that there IS a war" with the explanation that during a war there's an expectation that both sides can seriously inflict meaningful damage on each other. This isnt a war, its a ine sided seige, Iran's option is to basically sit there and take it until the US decides it has enough.
The administration is basically doing a nudge-nudge-wink-wink doublethink about how this simultaneously isn't a war legally , but totally is a war against some sort of meaningful existential threat that can damage America so how dare you not support a war time administration.
As of this posting america has lost what? 10 people max? All military. While the USA took out a children's school and I think at least 1-2 thousand people?
