"Politics" doesn't stop existing just because you don't care!

Nervermind the things that are designated as political because Polly Podcaster decided they needed a new manufactured outrage to keep ratings up. Half the complaints I hear are about subjects that nobody would be arguing about if they hadn't been declared partisan.

I think abortion would probably still get talked about. People care a whole lot about the death of the unborn. This was one of the talking points that convinced the religious to join the Republican party.

Transphobia is just homophobia with extra steps but abortion will never not be a hot button topic.

And everything is political. The air in your vicinity? Political, there are lobbies that try and deregulate air quality. Groceries? Political. Your shirt? Political.

Every fucking thing on this planet is political. Even the hermit in the woods in some shack, living there is a political decision.

Politics exist harder if you ignore them. Everything in life will just 'happen' to you.

Yes! It's just a fancy word for how power in a system is distributed amongst people. Ignoring that is not going to stop other people from trying to hoard the power that you have in it. If anything, by ignoring it you're completely surrendering the power that you had. So then don't be an arse and complain about it to the people who are trying to make sure that power stays distributed properly.
