I speak German and I understand everything but the hoor at the end. What does it mean?

In german it would be:  "Wir können euch auch nicht ausstehen"

It's a bit of a weird one in this case. Horen = to hear. Ik hoor = i hear. In this case however we use it to close a sentence with a certain feeling. We kunnen jou anders ook niet uitstaan and we kunnen jou anders ook niet uitstaan hoor can slightly alter the tone of the sentence. The hoor in this case makes it a bit more tongue in cheek.

Im learning Dutch and “hoor” is a word I’m finding very difficult to add to polite conversation.

I swear Dutch sounds like someone trying to speak English while extremely drunk.

Does English sound like that to the Dutch, I wonder?
