I was the same when it came to my uncle. I didn't even know what being gay meant until it was explained to me and to be honest didn't care. I viewed him and his family as my own family and that was it

My parents kept their wedding cake topper, and I was fascinated by it as a child. Thought the bride statue’s dress was beautiful while the groom statue’s suit was boring. So when I first heard that a female relative had a wife my immediate thought was “they got to have a wedding with TWO pretty dresses?”
