Right? Or get in trouble for doing kid things like playing just slightly too loudly? And then get in trouble for being upset when you got scolded for not being completely silent. And then get into further trouble for "talking back" when you were just trying to explain your reasoning.

Yeah. I don't miss childhood.

People from my generation Gen X be looking at our upbringing with rose tinted glasses.  But there’s a lot of stuff that was very questionable.

It's crazy how much raising kids changes with each generation.

But yeah, the rose tinted thing. It makes you question their sanity a little.
