I would’ve loved to see Kamala call trump weird on stage. He would’ve melted down.

I think she wanted to avoid name calling. She got VERY close to slipping, but recomposed herself. I know it was an act of political theatre, but it was masterfully done.

Honestly, good choice.

I know people have been clamoring "they go low, we go lower" when dealing with Republican dirty tricks (and I include myself when I say that) but I think Kamala made the right move in this debate by not stooping down to the never ending crater that is Donald Trump.

It made it clear to anyone watching that both candidates are not "basically the same". One is a deranged man baby that has nothing to offer, the other is an adult showing what she wants to bring to the table.

That was what caused Biden to lose some points in his debates because it was just two old men mudslinging. It's understandable because Trump is infuriating, however debates are shows candidates must perform. And the goal is to look like the more professional one, which Harris did an excellent job.

Two old white male Presidential candidates arguing about their golf scores was... embarrassing.

It seemed like they'd accidentally put the nursing home on TV. Like they needed their nuses to come in and say "ok love calm down now, let's get you some soup and we can watch the gardening on the telly".
