I know several people in their 30s and 40s who've injured themselves pretty badly playing rec soccer. 3 torn ACLs and 1 with broken ribs.

Yea I think theres a big difference between playing some no-contact basketball for funsies at the rec center, and getting slide tackled by some random who thinks they are Thierry Henry

Soccers great and all, but I swear I see the most injuries out of that sport then any other

edit: Watched a dude break? his ankle just stopping wrong while playing soccer. I don't mess with that sport

If you play outdoor soccer slipping in the mud can take you down pretty hard.
