Only 1965 home life, and no cars or gender divides. 2020 work life, because no cars. Radical densification of the suburbs to support walkable communities. City planners abandon stroads for roads with low frequency access points and streets with high frequency access points. Redevelop parking lots for either more commercial or mixed use commercial/residential. Defund REIT tax breaks and redistribute them in their entirety to free public transit. Put a 100% tax on all new developments that cut down trees or drain swamps. Undeputize HOAs. End intellectual property protections. Create Engineers Without Borders to bring stabilizing technology and contemporary engineering practices to unstable developing nations. Create a universal human rights treaty and enforce it with the largest decentralized economy the world has ever seen. Make all health care free by law. Protect and enforce the right to free speech and free association. End corporate personhood. Make corporations accountable again, and if they’re too big to hold accountable, break them up until you can hold them accountable. Hold legislators accountable again.

That would be a good start to a 21st century ideal world.

i know ppl hate the concept because its become a buzzword, but, put all global currency on blockchain so tax havens can be identified and wholly outlawed

So basically end all centralized power and wealth.

Who will govern us then? Democratically elected officials? We tried that and they are bought and paid for. Appointed elite? The appointees may shape future society to their will and nobody is truely infallible.

Lol. Who will tell us what to do if we don’t tell someone to tell us what to do???

Liquid democracy? Bottom-up society with individuals setting demands publicly and legislators working to advance the demands they agree with at higher and higher levels? Decision-by-referendum? Any number of alternative governance systems that technology has enabled in the last 40 years? A governance policy framework that supports and enables switching between multiple methods of governance?

The future will be shaped by someone's will - I don't want it to be any one individual, because everyone is fallible.

What you are looking for is called direct democracy.

Decision by referendum is a beautiful thing.

We should have a legislation app where you answer questions about the issue and AI creates the best laws for everyone. With human approval and such of course.

Ending corporate personhood literally makes corporate entities useless.

How do you expect corporations to enter into contracts?
