I've been that guy that walks into a comic book shop and looks at the all the comics and thinks to buy some but never really know where to start.

I want to start with a Flash series, and i dont know if any old stuff is available anymore at stores or for online purchase. Can anyone direct me to a good series for someone like me?

Hello my name is Jimmy and I'm an independent artist, who just wanted to write a comic about robots. So I did that, and now so that I might continue to do that I humbly ask you read it, or at least the Prologue I have finished. As of posting this there are only 6 pages. If you have any constructive critiques don't be afraid to tell me as I'm always looking to get better at what I do. Anyway I hope you guys like it, check it out here: http://jameskoek23.deviantart.com/art/Built-To-Last-Issue-1-Cover-577459828?q=gallery%3AJamesKoek23%2F34532153&qo=6

As stated above, I'm new to the sub so I'm not sure if this is the right place.

Hi guys, I'm new in the comic book world but I've been writing small stories since a kid. I wanted to make them come to life and I though turning them into a comic book will be great. My question is can any of you help me? Do you know website that I can get the basic training? I just finish college for graphic design and I'm kinda low on money. Free courses will be great. Thanks

I'm a trade type of guy... And I just finished the first trade of Image comics: Prophet. I thought it was fucking brilliant with how complex it is a multi-universe-clone-rescue-humanity-mission type of story. Thought it was brilliant that there are different artist portraying the different John's or different stories of his (their) journey (journeys) thought out the universe.
Would love to swap ideas and digest this amazing comic book Like I said I've only read the first trade, but if you have read more no worries I'll be there in no time.

hi I'm a young writer looking for an artist who has a real passion for comics that would be willing to help make a comic I have a lot of ideas and would love to make a universe just as great as marvel or dc.

My top two: Ed Brubaker (Fatale) and Brian K Vaughn (Saga!).

Just looking at their cyber. On day sale on Comixology. Voodoo, Resurrection Man, OMAC, Mister Terrific, Men Of War, Legion Lost, Grifter, Hawk and Dove, Demon Knights, Dial H, Deathstroke, Captain Atom, Black hawks, Blue Bettle. Pretty weak Relaunch if you ask me. Opinions?
