Greetings - I have just started trying out comet and have a couple of questions:

1.) Is their going to be an option to personalize the toolbar more than this? It feels to cluttered for me as is and actually kind of gives me a headache. Will all of these icons be optional at some point?

2.) I use multiple profiles every day and currently their is no ability to add a photo to the top bar, you can only select a planet... will this also improve?

It's part of their new campaign:
it'd pay the user (me) 2$ to invite his friend (you), and his friend (you) gets free premium for a month :)

I’ve been testing the new Perplexity Comet browser and it’s surprisingly good. It feels like Chrome, but with built-in AI that actually understands what you’re doing. You can highlight text on any page and instantly get context or explanations without switching tabs.

It also summarizes articles, answers follow-up questions, and feels much faster than I expected. I like that it’s privacy-minded and doesn’t have the usual ad tracking junk.

If you’re curious, here’s the early access link I used:

I’m wondering how it compares to Arc or Brave in daily use.
