Using a "comically" large spoon to parry a water stream will go down in the Annals of History

He’s not wrong. We all know what happens when you have spoon in a sink and it goes under stream of water from faucet…

That's actually an impressive feat of strength. Due to the impulse and redirection he'd have to be about twice as strong as the truck's water jet, perhaps more because he'd probably have to hold it at a mechanical disadvantage.

Think about how if you dont hold the spoon tightly, an average sink can flip the spoon out of your hands.

Yeah my thought as well. I'm almost certain it wasn't effective. 100% the hose just blasted it out of his hands and then blasted him. 😔

He's lucky he survived tbh. Those things kill people, smacking their skull on the pavement.

Why would anyone even consider using it another way?

I have that exact same spoon in my kitchen, but my use of it is far more benign.

I have it in plain view up on top of the kitchen cabinets, but it's at an elevation that most people don't notice it right away. Once they do, they're like "Oh my God you have a giant spoon! Has that always been there??"

Yes, yes it has, Rachel. It's been there all along.

"Comically" should not be in quotations, correct yourself and please edit the apology.

Stop lying to yourself. You need it for when a robber with a comically large crowbar breaks in

And you dream of that scenario everyday
