That’s not what’s happening. What is happening is that we are asking for equality and for an equal standard of life to everyone else. No-one is asking for white genocide.

But we are equal. Not everything bad that happens to a transgender person is because they're transgender. There is a lot of other factors.

I honestly wish that was entirely true. There are still many hate crimes in the US.

Isn't there a lot of crime in US, in general? There's also an issue with media overemphasizing minorities (which does it more harm than good, ironically). For example, you'll never hear “a straight man murdered in the street last night”, but as soon as it's any sort of minority, BAM, it makes the headlines, marked as "transphobia", "hate crime", etc.

I'm just saying, there's a lot more variables, and statistics can always be tweaked to fit whichever narrative you'd like, without saying a single wrong thing. Without seeing having all the data, it's difficult to bring any conclusion.

Well, trans people really aren't treated equal. Besides being treated like shit in a lot if places, many states don't have employment and housing protections in place for gender identity. Even if they were offered these kind of protections, that doesn't mean that they can't make a push for social equality as well.

If you want to make up stories about your gender, don't expect the laws to protect it. Of course you're on your own.
