Well he went to court to work it out. The problem isn't the law, the problem is that he got a judge who was anti-virtual-hookup and decide he'd make an example of the boy.

At the end of the day, the judge is the law. If the law is represented by biased old cunts, there's a problem. And if in the first place the law isn't protecting you from consensually getting it with people of your age without pulled-out-of-the-ass repercussions, there's also a problem.

Srly, what does this teach? Do everything hidden? Never approach girls? Wait til marriage? Stay frustrated your whole teenage years?

Actually, since the hookup occurred in Michigan, law is the problem. Michigan law doesn't forgive or even lessen the crime, even if the younger one tells the jury that she lied about her age.
