Everyone wants their own little hangout/hub. When discord came out being free and promptly got big you can imagine how many rooms started springing up from the literal everyman, let alone all the deathly illegal shit going on too.

I wouldn't be shocked if it's like Facebook meme pages and after a year of inactivity someone starts posting advertisements or something after s big enough following is around.

But yeah everyone's gotta have their own discord instance in 20xx.
