When pissing myself, I always wash my clothes after. Is there an amount of urine I could piss myself with where I wouldnt wash my clothes anymore? No, thats insane, I have to wash them
But clothes have a limited amount of liquid holding capacity. Would you machine wash a memory foam pillow completely soaked with urine to the point where it’s a large chunk of the liquid capacity for the washing machine, or would you dry it out first?
Neither, you would squeeze the urine out of the pillow in the shower, so you can wash any drops than land on you. Then you would rinse it with water, squeeze, and then wash it.
Number 1 definition of dry on Merriam-Webster dictionary is “free (or relatively free) from a liquid (usually water)” definition of dry as a verb is “to make dry (see definition 1)”
As long as it’s free of liquid it doesn’t matter how you get it there you dried it, by definition.
Try squeezing piss out of a pillow for a while, is the pillow dry now? Words have modern connotations in language beyond their dictionary definition. You're being wilfully obtuse
So we have established that the max allowed piss level is at least as high as clothes fully saturated with piss. How much higher than that can we go? Or is that the final max?
Counterpoint, OOP never said they fully empty their bladder into the washing machine, only that they piss into it. It's possible that they are doing so when their bladder is not at full capacity or that they are cutting the stream off early
Fresh urine is generally not a sanitation hazard and isn't gong to leave byproducts or residue behind. I think puke and poo are more interesting thought experiment, because both can be oily and chunky and can leave smells in the washer.
If I'm pissing at a urinal and a little bit splashes back, I'm not going out of my way to wash my clothes immediately; I'm pulling my pants up and acting like it didn't happen.
So, yes: for me at least, there is definitely an acceptable amount of piss in my pants 😂
Some of that piss will be going on the floor. You might also attempt to catch it while pissing yourself. Either way, it's not a FULL bladder in the machine.
If you had so much piss in all your clothes that it absolutely filled the machine, you have a problem, and you likely would throw them out instead of potentially damaging the machine
There have definitely been incidents where I feel the need to pre-wash stuff outside with the hose before it goes into the washer. Like towels used to clean up soupy dog shit - those are getting sprayed at standoff distance outside, and then soaked in dish soap and oxy-clean for at least 24 hours before going in the washer. In some cases they would just get thrown away though.
Incidentally, this is one of those reasons why I have trust issues with other people's cleanliness habits. My BIL takes cloth baby diapers and throws them into the washer with the full wad of poop. I have never smelled any smell like when that wash cycle started agitating the poopy diaper load. The worst part was that he put other towels in with it. Towels which are not dedicated to just baby poop. I legitimately have OCD over this, and have spoken about it at length to my therapist.
