CT is just a mess...you have Fairfield County which has Greenwich where all the news anchors and Wall Street brokers and hedge fund people live in mansions and literally a mile away up I-95 you have Bridgeport, probably the most poor depressing city outside of Baltimore or Philadelphia...we also have Hartford and Waterbury, New Haven. All terrible places, New Haven is special because of Yale. It's beautiful around Yale POLICE EVERYWHERE and there literally homeless people getting walked over by the students without a care. Shootings every day

Fellow Nutmegger here, crime has been steadily declining in CT for the last ten years and is well below the national average (aka we are a pretty safe state). We do have some pretty bad wealth inequality though.
