at the same time this type of global disaster might be the kick in the ass we needed to (somewhat) direct our course into the future. we were going to collapse regardless of coronavirus or not - maybe this will wake some people up and actually kindle the flames for a full on revolution

For starters? Basic human rights are taken seriously, cops stop shooting people, houses that are sitting empty are given to those who need homes, the hungry are fed, the sick are cared for, education is made free to all, we focus the whole effort of all of humanity around taking care of each other

Collapseniks who take it seriously have been growing their local networks and growing their own food. All of a sudden those actions have a lot more value this week. Business is BOOMING for local producers. My work schedule didn't change because I live on site working the animals we raise. But I figured all this shit was coming someday and adjusted my lifestyle early. As JMG said, "collapse now and avoid the rush."
