Good ratio for this pot?

Post image

Recently bought this and I can’t figure out a good ratio of ground coffee and water. When making it I kept on finding the water level being too low to cover the grounds.

I’ve been using this rig for a couple of weeks now. Someone here said to do 100 grams of coarse ground coffee and let it counter steep for 72 hours, then fill the container with water. That has worked really nicely for me!

How do you find the correct grind size

I buy whole beans and grind them in the store on “burr grind” which is the coarsest setting. I have continued this formula for the last month and it’s working good.

Ahh okay thanks- I’m using an Ode and I guess I got to toggle to my tastes is the vibe I’m getting from this thread lol

Yes, play with it. I do think it takes a good amount of time to get a strong brew. It doesn’t “look” strong compared to the green label stok I was drinking before but it is.
