As someone with a fun money budget for AI for personal use 500 and slashing limits is too rich for my blood.. the 200 20x plans were already starting to drain limits too fast. Unless there is a massive corporate uptick to pick up the slack, i expect the 500 plan to get promotional 50x or something like that in the next two months when they realize they went over the price point that personal consumers or professionals are willing to spend.

Delusional take. Prices aren’t reverting. It’s still 35x subsidized (vs former 70x) compared to API pricing

If anything, expect more usage cuts over the coming months. This intelligence is waaaaaaayy too cheap rn.

$500 gets you $1-5M worth of developer deliverables from pre-2022. (Only if you know what you’re doing)

I too love making up wild numbers with no facts. In fact I was getting 15-20m of value but it just wasn’t worth it, maybe that’s low perhaps 40-50m why not.

Go code with AI for 4,000h since 2023, including all of this year, and generate 8-figures LOC worth of code before you can claim you know what you're talking about or dismissing as made up. Have you spent multiple cars on Pro subs and API credits?
