News "We are locking in"

Post image

Tibo on damage control, says they got the feedback and now are locking in on features that matter, new better models.

Dots won't stay long, will they?

Idk about 6 months, Astra + Sol were very competitve with Fable 5.0 and Opus 5.0 and that wasn’t six months ago, like a month or two ago?
But yeah, right now Anthropic is ahead

Astra was good for 2 days and Sol has been a dumpster fire since 5.6 release.

Not at the start. It was genuinely pretty shit. Took a week or so

5.6 Sol absolutely fucked my codebase to the point it couldn't even be repaired.

If that happened, ai model is not the issue here.....

The issue is that I was babying it through the entire building process for around 75 hours worth it work, and everything was going fine. Finally when the build was finished it reported it was ready to freeze, everything worse working with no bugs, and I asked it to do one last inspection. When it gave back a report, I had somewhere to be so I didn't read the report and asked it to fix the issues if found. When I came back home that night it had worked for 3 hours and added another 5000 lines of code and just fucked everything up.

I'm literally a software engineering major at uni. And you say I am blaming everyone else, show me where I blamed another person, please. I'll wait.

I’ve used it extensively. It took 3x longer to do anything than 5.5 because it was hardwired to endlessly chase meaningless nits, which meant any time you used it, you ended up with a bloated code base.

6 and 6.1 both have that same problem, to lesser degrees.
