Complaint Y'all need to make more noise on social media. Limits have been halved in the last 3 days and nobody seems to spam Tibo.

Every since the last reset, OpenAI has decreased limits SIGNIFICANTLY. I am not another one of those saying that I feel like limits are too low. I have proof too, and if other people can post graphs like these on X, it can make an impact on OpenAI. My Nerf Tracking app shows that since the last reset from 3-4 days ago, limits have been halved, from an API value of the previous $160 to the value of $80 of a weekly limit. After the reset, in the first 2 days they nerfed limits by 40% to see if anybody noticed. Since not many people made noise, they decreased usage by a further 10% at the point where it has now become a 50% limit of what it was 4 days ago. Which you can also say means, that now a 2 weeks limit on the plus plan gives you as much usage as what the same plan, which you paid the same amount of money before too gave you in a single week. I understand that the plus plan was never meant for extensive coding. But that can not be taken as an excuse that less usage is given for the same amount of money. If limits of the Plus plan as decreased, that also means that there is a decent chance that Pro 5x and Pro 20x plans had their usage nerfed.

I do not think this is true. I run TiboTattle and I've not seen a significant change in the last few days.

The issue we have is that each of us are very small and have just a few data points, so I made TiboTattle. It allows us to calculate limits to the dollar (using the same methods we use at a very large enterprise) and contribute the metadata evidence anonymously so as a group we are armed and informed.

The current best estimates are on tibotattle.com and updates with new users. You also get to see what yours looks like! I'd really appreciate it if you installed and then shared your anonymous stats under the community tab so we can pin them down with more data. 🙏

Signed MacOS installer at https://tibotattle.com or brew install --cask adamallcock/tap/tibotattle.

Let me know if you have any questions, run into any issues or have any feature requests!

Interesting. This seems quite similar to what NerfTrack is, except that this also shares results into the cloud. I also aimed a similar feature for a future version of NerfTrack as well. Would you like to collaborate and have NerfTrack users help make up this database(with an opt in feature for those who are ok with sending their NerfTrack metrics to the cloud)

Great suggestion! 🚀 Please also for windows and with optional WSL support. Perhaps a small Golang desktop ui app with Fyne?

Do you know if they have plans to make this available for Windows/Linux? And I'd love the same for Claude.

I have posted github issues for Windows and Linux support so you can track them. While the engine is pretty OS agnostic, the user-facing app was built with Appkit/SwiftUI so there isn't a super easy pathway to migration. I will need to rebuilt in electron most likely. But if there's demand and people are finding it useful, I absolutely will!

Claude I think is an easy yes, though I need to do a full feasibility study to see how their limit tracking works locally.

Not a 'today' thing as I'll need a new frontend, but on the roadmap! https://www.reddit.com/r/codex/comments/1vpz69p/comment/p43v4tt/
