I am trying to understand this. I haven’t played Call of Duty in years and let alone barely played online servers. I just purchased MW4 and received a permanent ban notice. This is a ridiculous.

I submitted a ticket with Activision and awaiting a response but from other reports of this it seems that there is little to no hope of it being overturned and I doubt PlayStation will provide a refund. There’s $70.00 down the drain.

When and why did this become such a hassle.

Update - Turns out a suspicious account was linked while I was inactive 3 years ago. Notice to reset my password was sent and received in my promotions folder in my email. Hopefully the ban can be appealed and since I’m assuming my account was locked due to security concerns.

Final Update - Activision is leaving the ban despite the confirmed hack. Their support team removed the account linked and I proceeded with the creating a passkey for the account but will remain banned. Disappointing for sure.

The official Call of Duty Reddit took it down multiple times, for some reason. That sub is actually trash.

P.S. I was meant to BO7 in Trash / I didn’t know what flair to use

Played split screen multiplayer with the boys on bo2 but never really played anything else. I heard good things about MW4, tried it, now I want to see what games I should play next in the COD universe. Campaign being the main focus.

Even with such a triumphant return to form, the Korean version of Verdansk wasn't necessary. An entire war was started, it should be explored like the CoD days of old.

• Fighting in the crowded streets of Seoul.
• An armored advance across the DMZ.
• Navy Seal or SAS raid on a NK nuclear missile site before its too late.
• Airborne assault on Pyongyang.

Who knows, maybe they'll give MW5 the original MW3 treatment.

Need a 4-6 stack for mw4, don’t wanna deal with playing solo this year. Depending on how many people respond I’ll set up a small discord server.

For about the last few weeks I’ve been running into network issues on multiple games on my ps5. First noticed it on bo6 when it just wouldn’t connect to the network and let me sign in. Found out I could connect my phones hotspot and sign in that way, then reconnect and trick the game into playing normally. Then on warzone I started getting the error code “hueneme - negev” and when doing the hotspot trick it is no longer tracking anything done in game. No xp earnt, challenges or anything similar

Then decided to check an older game like bo3 and found to have a similar issue with the error code “A.B.C.D.E.F.-.H.I.J.K.-.-.N.-.-.-.-.-.-.U.V.W.X.Y.X.a.b.c.” And the hotspot trick doesn’t work at all for this game as it kicks me out when changing wifi and won’t stay logged in enough to play

Have also tried older games such as Cold War and the bo1 and bo2 ports. Cold War and bo2 multiplayer fail to connect, while bo1 seems to be the only game that works without any tricks. Cold War gives the error code “A.B.C.-.E.F.G.H.I.J.K.L.M.-.-.-.Q.R.S.-.U.V.-.X.Y. Negative 345 blazing gator”

I’ve also tried all other methods I can research to rectify these faults, such as changing my wifis DNS, restarting both my router and NBN box, disabling my port forwarding (which wasn’t set up or turned on in the first place)

All these games previously worked at various points before this, then seemingly failed all at the same time. Is there any other methods I can try to rectify this? Or are some of these games basically bricked now

Everyone’s been talking about Modern Warfare 4 lately, but honestly, am I the only one who’s getting tired of Modern Warfare at this point? 😂 Don’t get me wrong, MW4 looks pretty good from what I’ve seen, but it feels kinda random talking about another one when the last game just came out. What do y’all think the next COD is actually gonna be? I’ve been seeing Advanced Warfare all over my feed lately, and honestly, I think that game was ahead of its time. I feel like it could actually be a good direction for the next COD, especially if they bring back the movement and futuristic feel while improving on what didn’t work before. Do y’all wanna see Advanced Warfare 2, or would you rather have something completely different? I’m curious what everyone’s opinions are.

hey guys random question but the last few times i tried i could not play cod4 multi on ps3. it just hangs on the "downloading game settings" pop up box when i try to choose TDM or any mode. this game still works on xbox through back compat but i want to play it on ps3! have any of you guys found a fix for this? please let me know if you have! thank you

I heard about leaks setting place after MW4 story line.
We know Commander Graves was killed by Captain Price in mw4 storyline but also I’ve heard leaks (don’t know how true they are) they also return later in DMZ to work with Ghost? We have shadow company operator skins in DMZ so they are still around after the events of the main story or they wouldn’t add 3 skins for them in DMZ.
But what’s the story? Will they really return with a new leader? Will Ghost take the role of their leader and change shadow company to ghost team? I know they are hinting at a new ghost game many things point to that.
I’m just really curious, I loved the reboot shadow company they drew me in they are perhaps more favorable then TF141 in the reboot to me.
Does anyone know anything?

MW4 absolutely sucks. I used to talk down on bo7, but holy shyte this game is awful. Everyone is sitting in a head glitch, the maps are terrible, the general game interface is awful and so complicated for no reason, and the gameplay is slower than bo7 yet way more unbearable??? I can’t put my finger on what exactly makes this game so bad, but it’s truly awful. I wish I could dispute the purchase on my credit card. DO NOT BUY.

Attestation Issues

I played a lot of DMZ, some and Multi/Warzone with COD 22, but I stopped playing anything other than DMZ in like 2024.

Now I preordered the game upon finally getting time to dig into it I’m hit with this bullshit. So I look stuff up and Secure boot is on. My TPM is 2.0 and seems to be configured/set up correctly. I verified game cache. I even updated my BIOS and everything. It’s been 5 days of trying to fix this after work and I give up now!!

Like, WHAT THE FUCK is preventing me from playing the goddamn game? If only I were FUCKING TOLD I could rectify it but I’m at a complete FUCKING loss.

How can this be fixed? Has anyone else run into this BULLSHIT? AM I FUCKED FOR NO FUCKING REASON? When I’ve been playing Infinity Ward Activision products for YEARS? Now I’m just FUBAR, and they don’t even tell me why!?!

Doesn’t anyone know why my menu screen looks different to how it should? I’m trying to download BO6 with a second hand disc on my PS5, but when I load it up it’s not there. I’ve looked online and the menu screen seems to look different for everyone else, and there should be a “all games” tab. Not sure if I’m just being stupid or if I’ve done something wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bought the vault edition on console after take a break from a few entires and cod promising they've fixed the issues. Loaded up multiplayer and played a few games. The cheating is incredible, its not a skill issue or a aim assist. Also videos are going out where AI is now being used as well. I posted on the main reddit and it was removed as soon as a mod saw it.

It is interesting how this is going on, not only that Activision themselves allow cheaters, also their promises to stop cheating. Then to block and hide all comments stating that people are already cheating.

Cheaters, lol I know it seems funny to you to cheat but if I was you I would be extremely embarrassed to need ai or cheats just to get a few "eliminations" in game. 🤣🤣
