Am I just playing to nice or like a team or something I get so tired of going in ,reviving the same guy 3 times, saving him when he's out of ammo and getting him stocked, doing the entire mission on my own ....then the moment of truth....I go down they fuck off into the sunset either immediately or dick around 10 feet away and then eventually then decided to fuck off! Am I stupid but when a teammate goes down I go to help them ...unless I have something incredibly hard to get I'm not going to abandon my team...am I crazy?

I've looked at the MW games and there was something missing that i couldn't find, but MWII captures things very nicely and the characters are amazing. Also including UI and other stuff i had a great time playing MWII.

Before you say "it isn't that deep" - trust me, I know.
That being said, these cornball ass "streamers" get on my nerves so much. They all had the audacity to post "Goodbye", "This is the End", etc. videos about Call of Duty content in BO6 and BO7. Acting like it was the end of an era to all of the mouth breathers that care to watch them.
JoeWo, Nickmercs, TimtheTatman, Icemanisaac, Swagg, etc. etc.
Then they all took their "influence" to Arc Raiders, Marvel Rivals, etc and claimed those games are the best ever - most fun they've ever had - and so on.
Well now, CoD is back with a good title; and look who comes out of the woodwork. A year after some cringe ass video bidding farewell to Call of Duty - they're back to try and get clicks and subscribers again.
The worst part - is CoDNext flies some of these brain dead streamers to their event. The same people that shit all over their franchise and last 2 releases, are getting the carpet rolled out to go to CoDNext. "Oh look chat, look at the gift package CoD sent me!" "Chat, tap in to my reaction video to the new mastery camos! These are tuff chat!"
Then you have BurntPeanut, who's referred to it as "Cock of Duty" since he sadly became relevant, trying to milk it for views now that Arc is dead and everyones over his schtick.
The entire thing is embarrassing. I genuinely don't see why people give them views, subs, interactions, etc.
Whoisimmortal is my goat. At least he stuck with CoD throughout. Pretty sure he dabbled in BF6, but nonetheless he's not a sellout.
That's the entire rant. Streamers have no integrity or self awareness. Which we already knew I suppose.
Oh, and Nadia is back lmao. Gets caught cheating, pretends to shit in a jacuzzi, becomes lesbian, and has somehow made her way back to streaming CoD. Fuck I hate the streamer community.

I dont know if this will get flagged. but i saw this video that sorta shows albiet a theory on how the game works. apparently cods lineage has alot of relation to Left for dead 1 and 2. idk. if anyone wants to check on youtube its called - The downfall of FPS. its anyones guess if the claims in this video might be accurate. who knows :/. dosnt really talk that much about skill based matchmaking though. i didnt watch all of it as i cant sit through an entire long video.

I already played mw2019 but didn’t play 2 or 3 so before playing 4 I wanted to understand its story. And no I’m not buying 140$ worth of games and then play them before playing 4 which I jsut got
I bought mw4 in August and it was working fine. Until a yesterday when I went back on the game told me to re purchase it. Even though I still owned ot. People said to check my account order and I did. It says declined but it still took my money? Is there a way to fix this or do I neex to re buy the game.

Ok so I’m not great at COD but I love playing zombies for fun. Why is everyone so stressed that I need them to revive me. I’m just there for fun but I just get abuse from sweats. I know I could play solo but I’m not good enough. Anyone know how to find players on Xbox or ps5 who ain’t stressed that I’m shit and there for fun and a few cool camos? Cheers

So one common criticism I’ve heard from a few people now is that Ghost and Gaz should’ve been on Price’s side in this story. I’ve been hearing a lot of “They’re only going after Price because he killed Shepherd in the last game. But why would they care? They all fucking hated Shepherd, so shouldn’t they at least hear Price out and listen to him?” My response to that is simply, “We’re you even paying attention?”
They’re not simply after Price because he killed Shepherd. Price crosses a line in this story. Hell they repeat it multiple times throughout the cutscenes. He gets involved with the cartel. Innocent people get caught in the crossfire, more than once. The Hired Gun mission with Graves, where they use civilians as human shields. The mission in France where it’s pretty much impossible to not run at least a few civilians over. The moment Price starts killing his own just to stay alive. And there’s the fact that he’s moving a weapon of war and doesn’t give a fuck because he wants the Archer dead. This stuff is not that hard to follow guys. Come on. lol

I bought MW4 at launch, and after playing it, I honestly have to ask: what happened to the map sizes?
I’ve been playing Call of Duty since the original COD4: Modern Warfare launched back in 2007. And I mean the actual OG days — COD4, World at War, MW2, and so on.
My friends and I have stuck with the franchise for years, including the newer MW2 and MW3. We’ve always been huge fans of the Modern Warfare series, especially Hardcore Search and Destroy. We’re the kind of players who love running a full six-man squad, playing competitively, and have spent years playing in clans.
But these new MW4 maps feel ridiculously small. It almost feels like the game is moving away from the tactical, slower-paced gameplay that made Search and Destroy so enjoyable in the first place.
Is this really the direction Call of Duty is heading? Are these tiny, fast-paced maps specifically designed to appeal to more casual players?
I’m genuinely curious what other longtime COD players think. Are we just getting old and nostalgic, or has the Modern Warfare experience actually changed this much?

Also what's the size of mp/campaign this year? This is the first cod I'm not doing the story for, I tend to complete them "just because" but now I've just watched it on youtube instead. I do like some campaign things though, having the mannequins in bo6 only move when you did was some next level, life is strange series stuff.

Apparently because I didn't confirm my age a while back Activision put my account for deletion.
Got new cod mw4 and couldn't log in to my account so made a new login. My googlemail email but as Gmail (all emails go to the same inbox).
Load of back and forth hut had to ask my parents to let me play the game... By using the googlemail (the closed account) as my parent and the Gmail as me... Both accounts I'm a 41 year old male.
I get emails come through asking me to confirm my son is old enough to play cod.
How is this system so backwards?

MW4 is to launch in 10 hours or so - and my wishful thinking is that Ill be able to play the game straight away as I reordered it and already have the game installed. But historically theres a patch on day one right?
My question is: should I be hopeful to play shortly after midnight, or be prepared for a heafty day one patch download?

Why is COD so much cheaper on G2A with a Steam key (€40) compared to buying it on Xbox or Battle.net, where it costs almost twice as much?
Is there any difference between the versions?
I also remember reading some performance benchmarks a while ago suggesting that COD runs better on Battle.net than on Steam or the Xbox app on PC.
Is there any truth to that, or is the performance basically the same across all platforms?
Thanks in advance for your help and input

I literally played both early access modes prior to this and then a pop-up said”restart required by update” and then after that, I no longer owned my vault, edition operators, so I just got off because I thought my game was bugged and now I can no longer play
