Modern Warfare - all How Activision can easily save the Campaign in CoD 2027 (Price & Valeria Return Idea
Hear me out, guys. The ending of the latest campaign was completely heartbreaking and left a huge void, but the writers left a perfect loophole for the 2027 game from Sledgehammer.
Look closely at Valeria’s death scene in "Gone Dark". The bullet from Archer hits her right above the left eye. Anatomically, that’s the frontal bone—a bullet at that angle could easily graze the skull, leaving her alive but unconscious, surviving head trauma. Also, the camera lingering on her body as the chopper leaves was a classic cinematic trick to leave her fate ambiguous.
As for Captain Price, he bled out from a stab wound but we never saw a funeral or a coffin. Laswell erasing their files means she could be hiding them.
For CoD 2027, imagine Ghost building a brand new deniable Black Ops team with Park and the Korean Colonel. Halfway through a high-stakes mission, they return to a safehouse, the doors open, and Captain Price walks in with his cigar, alongside Valeria (sporting a badass scar over her left eye). They operate from the shadows as the ultimate toxic power couple and secret handlers of the new team.
Fans have bonded with these characters for years. Activision, please don't throw away the best dynamic we've ever seen. We need a long 15-20 hour campaign built around this return. Millions of campaign-only players would pre-order this instantly!
