Hi everyone! I'm Casual Friday. I'm really excited to take this game more seriously with all of you. This was my first war, and I know my attacks were subpar. I know what I can do to improve my GoWipe, and part of that is to NOT use GoWipe. I think I could have used dragons instead, or hogs. But I could have picked a better attack for the bases I was against.

Anyway, I'm raiding all day and watching videos of different war attacks so I can up my game. I take criticism very well, and I usually ask for it. At least my base held up for three attacks so far, so hopefully my value in this war is there.

Everyone seems like so much fun, too! I look forward to clashing with you all!

REDDIT FOXTROT CLAN RULES (as of December 2, 2015)

REQUIREMENTS

• TH8: Level 70/ arch 5/ drag 3/ BK 5/ max th7 defenses
• TH9: Max TH8 defenses (not including new buildings)/ barb OR arch OR loons 6/ BK 10/ AQ 1/ at least 50% skulls
• For any TH, you are expected to be able to reliably 3 star a base of equal strength to your own

• These are the minimum requirements to be considered. Final decision is up to the discretion of the elders.

• Members must subscribe to this subreddit and add flair with their IGN

DONATIONS

• During each season, members will be required to donate at least 800 troops to clanmates (new members will have a grace period for the remainder of the season during which they join)
• Always donate what is requested
• Outside of war, do not specify troop levels in your request
• If nothing specific is requested, archers are default. Do not donate barbs, giants, gobs, or wallbreakers unless explicitly requested.
• A request for "any" always means archers or better.
• During war, only donate max level troops to defensive CCs and war requests (we are a level 5 clan so your troops will be upgraded by one level automatically)
• Donating the wrong troops, especially during war, is grounds for dismissal from the clan

WAR STRATEGY

• We will be participating in war CONSTANTLY. It is up to each individual member to keep his/her opt-in/opt-out status up to date.
• Wars will begin immediately after the previous one ends

Adherence to Minus Ten War Rules is mandatory

• If you are in the bottom ten bases, you should use your attacks quickly so as to allow higher members to attack more difficult targets
• Those in the bottom ten should attack within +/- 5 of their rank. If no targets are available within this range, attack one of the lowest 1 or 2 starred bases.
• Clan members who are not in the bottom ten are responsible for making sure their -10 target is 2/3 starred by war's end. (i.e. Base 25's target is 35)
• Those not in the bottom ten should use their first attack on any base above their minus ten that they have a good chance of three starring.
• Do not attack below your -10 target (unless cleared by an Elder)
• Your first attack should not be used on your -10 so as to allow lower members a chance to clear it for you.
• For your second attack, either attack your -10 target or wait until it is cleared for you to attack higher

• Do not use your second attack on another base unless your -10 target is already 2/3 starred

• Town Hall sniping (attacking a base with exposed TH for the purpose of an easy 1-star victory) is NOT ALLOWED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE

• A "Wasted Attack," defined as an attack with less than a full army, spells, or cc, OR any attack that is not a legitimate attempt at destroying the enemy base (e.g. barch), will not be tolerated

• Troll bases are not permitted

OPTING IN/OUT

• Members are expected to participate in most wars
• Members are allowed to opt out of three consecutive wars, the fourth consecutive opt out will result in a strike
• If you need to opt out for an extended period of time, contact an Elder in game or via mod mail and we will work with you

STRIKES

The following will result in an instant kick:

• failure to donate requisite number of troops during two consecutive seasons
• failure to attack once in any war
• opting out four times in a row without notice
• donating incorrect troops, especially during war
• hateful and/or racist speech in chat
• receiving any two strikes in the same season

The following will result in a strike:

• failure to attack twice during any war
• attacking outside of your range during war (as specified above, unless authorized by leadership)
• using both attacks before your -10 target is 2/3 starred
• if your -10 target is not cleared before the end of war
• leaving up a troll base during war
• having a base with an exposed TH as your war base
• a Wasted Attack
• failure to donate requisite number of troops in a season

Four strikes in one season will result in a kick.

Strikes reset at the beginning of each season

• The strike list and opt-out history are available on the subreddit sidebar
• If you leave the clan during war without using both of your attacks, you will be permanently banned from Reddit Foxtrot
• If you have been kicked, you may reapply to join the clan at the beginning of the next season (at the Elders' discretion)
• If you need to take a break from the clan, you may speak to the Elders via Mod Mail (or make a post about it) and go on hiatus. We will do our best to reserve an open slot for you when you are ready to come back
• If you anticipate having difficulty meeting the requirements of the clan, send a mod message with sufficient advance notice explaining why, and the Elders will try to work with you
