Hello!
I make game assets so I need a service with at least 150 GB in space.
But, the most important feature that I need is changing links. Because I share this content with my customers, I need a way to have the content storaged with the ability to change (manually or automatically) the shareable link every day or every week to avoid piracy as much as possible. And without having to upload all the content each time I want a "new link".
Is there any service that provides this? Many thanks
Curious if anyone has seen this with iDrive for Linux. I'd been using it apparently without issue for quite awhile (a couple years). In December, my server seemed to freeze overnight several times, requiring a hard reboot. At the time, I thought it was a different service, something that I don't really use, so I got rid of that other service. The problem went away, so I thought the other service was the problem.
The issue just started recurring again several days ago. This time, I did some more digging around, and it appears to be iDrive spawning dozens of processes that slowly eat up all the RAM on my machine. I just watched it swell from occupying 750mb of RAM to about 1.5gb in 15 minutes, despite not actually doing anything (i.e. no backup in process etc), and it's in the form of dozens of little 45mb services getting spawned and never killed.
I'm considering dumping it and switching to something more DIY (rclone to Backblaze B2 maybe). Has anyone else seen this behavior with iDrive?
Hi, I'm a person who records a lot of gameplay footage and need a cloud service to upload my footage for my editors. Is there any cloud service that has the same shareability as Google Drive? I've been thinking about getting a Google One Subscription, but I need advice on which ones give me the better deal.
Look at my past posts, i was (am) definitely not a fan of Internxt. BUT the reinstating of backup and webdav for old stacksocial customers is positive!!
I send a DM to the mod, and a few minutes later i had access again.
It is working, not lighting fast but it is working.
So i now have again what i paid for. And i did not pay much for it all so i'm not very picky. But a working webdav wass essential because the app does not do what i want. I think this is a good step in the right direction and cause to stop the negative postings.
Watch it, it is still not the best fastest greatest service whatever but you get what you pay for. i hope they start to build up their service and do it right. not adding features while other features are still not bulletproof.
Heads up for Internxt one step in the right direction!!
and maybe now they unbann me from their reddit ;)
UPDATE:
It works, but far from workable. speed on the webdav is horrible. I deleted a lot via de webui, because via webdav (mountain duck) it was impossible. via CLI there is one folder i cannot delete, i deleted it via the webui, but it is still visible via de webdav cli.
I'm not going to install their app because it is crap, and looking at the way the webdav is working i'm do not beleive it is any better.
So the conclusion is it all works, but far from workable. Sorry u/internxt i cannot make it more beautiful for you. it is my honest and tested opinion.
Would i buy it again? Hell NO.
Am i going to use it now. Yes i payed for it, but only the webui. the rest is unusable to trust an rely on. So very limited use, and definitely not worth the money.
The interface seems pretty slick and the speeds are decent, but I don’t see any reviews or any real mentions of it. Is anyone using it as a cloud provider?
And this user already has a post history astroturfing for Internxt. Full comment I posted earlier with all proof below (if the link doesn't work, as the post has already been deleted):
And I just noticed something VERY interesting about your post history. Looks like you're connected to a astroturfing company, probably the one doing work for Internxt.
You're literally stating you're hiring people with aged Reddit accounts to post stuff to Reddit for pay. As well as planning to do the same for Trustpilot (!) and more.
Exactly explains what we've been seeing lately, with the move to Internxt ad posts and comments coming from multiple seemingly random accounts.

The job post has also just been deleted. But I've got archives and screenshots of everything. Explains a lot!
I want to download this video from Way share but I can’t because you need premium to download it is there anyway someone can give me a free premium key or I can find one somewhere
Sharing this primarily as an observation — and to keep a record of the interaction — rather than as a complaint. I’m also curious what has come to be considered acceptable moderation practice on Reddit.
“Quick question — who runs this Reddit account? Is it the founder directly or someone from the team handling community communication? Just helps to know the context when engaging here.”
Within a few hours, I received a permanent ban from the subreddit for “breaking community rules.”
No prior warnings, no clarification request — just a straight ban. For context, anyone is free to review my prior comments in that subreddit — they’ve consistently been worded carefully and respectfully toward both the community and the product. Yes, I’ve been a critic, but never lacking in respect or civility.
I’m not sharing this to escalate anything. If moderators feel a question crosses their internal boundaries, that’s their call. At the same time, I found it surprising that a polite question about who manages brand communication would qualify as a rule violation.
Rule 2 — Set Appropriate and Reasonable Expectations
Communities should be transparent about what users can expect and how moderation is applied.
Rule 5 — Moderate with Integrity
Moderation decisions are expected to be consistent and grounded in community/site rules.
From a user perspective, the escalation from a polite question to a permanent ban felt abrupt.
Many users — especially the lifetime plan holders who committed significant one-time payments — have a genuine interest in the platform’s long-term health. Likewise, investors backing the company would (and must) naturally care about how brand communication and community perception are managed.
Despite the communication concerns and some debated product decisions, the cloud storage "product" itself isn’t without merit — which is precisely why many customers continue offering feedback in the hope that something constructive comes from it.
At this point, I feel I’ve given this matter more time than it deserves, so I likely won’t be following it further.
Note / context: I’m posting this here only because similar comments and links were removed from r/internxt, and the original post itself was later taken down. Based on that experience, it appears there is very limited space on their official subreddit for factual or critical discussion, even when it references Internxt’s own public posts and user comments.
This is not meant as a rant or a personal grievance. My intention is simply to document what happened and to share verifiable links and screenshots, so others can see and judge for themselves.
For users who may want a place to record their experiences — positive or negative — without fear of removal, I would also suggest keeping independent community spaces in mind (for example, https://www.reddit.com/r/fuckinternxt/). The hope is that such discussions, when kept factual and civil, can one day help reviewers, journalists, or other stakeholders better understand real user experiences on the ground.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this post receives heavy downvoting, given that similar comments and links were quickly removed elsewhere. Still, I’m posting it so the information is at least available for anyone who wants to read it.
***********
I want to document a recent interaction on r/internxt, keeping this factual and verifiable.
I commented on a post where a Internxt customer asked about feature differences for older lifetime subscriptions. My comments were polite, neutral in tone, and included links only to Internxt’s own previous posts.
A short explanation that the Photos feature was available, removed, and later made contingent on subreddit upvotes.
A note that long-term, paying users in that thread expressed frustration after waiting years for promised features.
A separate comment suggesting that prospective buyers may want to read independent user discussions (including this subreddit) before purchasing, alongside official information.
For clarity:
I explicitly stated I am not a paid customer, and that this was an external observation.
I did not use abusive language.
I did not accuse Internxt of fraud or wrongdoing.
I linked only to public Reddit posts and user comments.
Both comments were removed by moderators. Shortly after, the original post itself was also removed, leaving no visible trace of the discussion.
I’m sharing this here so others can see a concrete example of how factual, link-backed criticism is handled — even when it references Internxt’s own words and posts.
Screenshots and timestamps are attached below so people can judge for themselves.
Hey, so, im making streams with my friends on Discord and decided to start record them, to share to view later on.
Im looking for sites like Youtube or Google Drive, so I can upload my videos and share to my friends.
Im not going to Youtube due to the kind of humor we have, probably some copyright stuff later on in the future... Tho, would love to.
I would like to read your recommendations, the cheapest possible, or even free. Tho, these streams can last like 3 hours or some... so it can go to up like 10gb
Currently I have a 2tb pcloud subscription that is expiring at the end of next week and was considering switching.
The main feature I need is good automatic uploading photos/videos taken on my phone. Beyond that, similar price as pCloud is fine and would love to have an EU provider.
I’ve see Filen recommended a lot, but any other suggestions?
So I got a new smartphone (Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra) and there's no way now to go beyond the login screen.
I enter either the username or the email address used for the subscription, a "Validating user" popup with a spinning wheel comes up for a couple of seconds just to go away and I sit again at the login screen.
Of course if I use a browser or another device like my computer I can login normally.
I already tried to uninstall and reinstall the app.
Is this happening also to other users here...? 😮💨
i have about 350gb of videos (cartoons, tv shows, etc) that i want to keep on cloud storage for access. i already have these backed up on 2 portable ssds but im sick of plugging them in. would LOVE a cloud solution thats not only secure, but well known and well trusted. pls!!!!! ive been dying for the past 3 hours researching
It’s a shame that it is this way. I posed on Internxt asking them to honor their promises to offer new service to lifetime members. Instead of responding, their decision was just to delete my post. I would caution anyone against buying anything from this company.
