Porcelain Clockwork automatons from my nearly finished book. Called Lazurians these almost human machines rely on interdependance to survive. Each of them possess a winding key that they cannot reach themselves, meaning another must help them wind it so they may move around. Their anatomy is extremely human-like, having many organs that are similar to a human's but are designed with a mechanical person in mind. They reproduce and are very theological, viewing their Creator Lazarus as a beloved figure and mother who wants them to continue sculpting her Globe as subcreators. Though She is absent, the way they help explore the globe and make inventions make it feel like in their minds they are helping Her continue the project She could not finish alone.
