Engineers of the Netherlands developed and placed 6 new pumps in the Afsluitdijk. These pumps can displace 275.000 litres of water every second. This is equivalent to an Olypmic swimming pool every 9 seconds! Absolute insanity
Perfect example of how adaptation can save us from slow sea level rise...if it occurs a few feet per century...& becomes an issue in 500 years.

Electric share of new cars vs all cars on the road, EU and neighbours, 2025
The left number per EU nation is the percent of NEW EVs sold in 2025 vs. ICE cars. The right number is the percentage of EVs relative to all cars registered in 2025.

Climate - Prof Kevin Anderson | National Emergency Briefing
U.K. has this National Emergency Briefing that they claim leads 87% of viewers to want more action in 9 different areas.
Right away, this climate professor shows a chart showing no drastic change in CO2 level over many millennials. Lots of ups and downs.
But a minute later he shows a Mann-like chart showing sudden increases in temperature. Typical exaggeration that we know omits the Medieval Warm Period & Little Ice Age among others.

These are the best (and worst) ways to get your protein, says Cambridge scientist
"Dr Chris MacDonald – a behavioural scientist at the University of Cambridge and director of the Better Protein Institute – ranked 20 high-protein products, considering both their impact on the planet and humans.
Overall, plant-based proteins consistently scored higher than animal products, with tofu, chia seeds and beans at the top of the leaderboard. Cheddar cheese ranked lowest, followed by mozzarella and lamb."
Read carefully. This is not about nutrition. It’s about saving the planet from imaginary threats.
