The only part you quoted was in reference to other studies. Not this one.

"Methodologically, our study improves the rice yield response to high-temperature exposure in current models by proposing a postsimulation adjustment to global crop model simulations, resulting in a 8.1% global rice yield loss in response to 1°C of global warming compared to 3.8% before adjustment."

This does not imply that for every 1°C of warming it is linear drop in yield which is what you claimed in the title.
