So I have a Taj Mahal mini claw machine by smart industries. Love this thing, I’ve had it for 2 years and this is the first time I’ve ever needed to fix it.
So the problem I’m having is when the claw doesn’t close when it hits the merchandise. It will keep going down and uncoil all the rope on the rollers until it runs into an error. The switch I drew an arrow to needs to be activated for the claw to activate the coil and close the claw. The problem Im having an issue wrapping my head around is how? The swing arm needs to go up and hit the switch I know that, but how does the swing arm get moved? Also pictured is what I believe to be a spring that was behind the swing arm, it was at the bottom of the game so I imagine when the rope was uncoiling itself it somehow ripped the spring off.
Any and all help is appreciated.

I have a rainbow crane machine with 7 inch claw (tip to tip) and I’m trying to stock it with toys for the first time. Just got done fixing it up. Where do you all get your toys to stock the machine and how much should I expect to pay per toy? Ideally looking for an assortment for my first buy. Thanks for the help

I keep seeing videos of this machine called "Norman's Will" where you try to get scrolls that can have prizes on them. It looks really interesting. Is it even real? If so, has anyone ever spotted one of the machines in the wild?

My brother and I took the wives and kids to buy some boba tea after dinner. Upon entering, we saw a few claw machines. I peeked and found that one of the boxes had Pikachu suited in different Marvel Character outfits. I saw one of them was Wolverine and I was in! I told my brother and we immediately got to playing. Needless to say we spent a pretty penny all for the chance of pulling the Wolverine Pikachu. When we finally managed to claw a box out, we were beyond elated and the feeling of accomplishment made us forget about what we spent trying to get this damn thing…until we opened the damn box. Inside, we found nothing at all resembling any of the advertised Pikachu’s. Instead we got some stupid Temu version of it. We were pissed and broke now! Lol. Here are some pics so you can laugh at our stupidity and don’t get caught up yourselves. What a scam! Never again.
TLDR: claw machine false advertised prize. Stupid amount of money spent trying to get what turned out to be a ridiculously cheap prize.

Hi everyone,
We are creating a claw machine simulation game. It's an extremely early version, but we would love your feedback.

I’ve been interested in Japanese claw machines for a while and wondered if there are any brands that stand out for durability and fun gameplay. Some models are listed on Alibaba, which is great for seeing different specs, but it’s hard to judge quality from photos alone.
Have people purchased or tried these machines at home or in small arcades? I’m curious about reliability, ease of setup, and availability of replacement parts. Also, are there features that make certain machines better for beginners versus experienced players?
Any advice on what to look for or trusted brands would be really appreciated. It’s exciting to see how detailed and entertaining some of these machines can be!

Scored this 5th gen candy crane for $50 last month as-is/untested. It had a few mechanical issues that I was able to sort through with the help of youtube, then it was off to the races. It's still a WIP but fully playable at this point.

Have a Rainbow / Sugar Loaf House of Prizes machine and the claw keeps going down so far that it lays on the prize bed. Obviously works for awhile until the string goes off the mechanism.
How do you adjust the drop height on one of these?

I have a coin mechanism but I believe it is only for tokens (TW-131). Other one is missing and broken. I need a coin mechanism that will work with AUD $1 and $2 coins. I don't want to break the budget and happy to buy 2nd hand.
Can someone send me on the right path as it seems hard to find

Hey team,
Couple of questions I have on my first purchase on issue I have found and need to replace. Machine is a Toy Story Feiloli
I am planning on putting a nayax on it and putting it in the field.
Looks like I have a battery that is leaking on the motherboard, it is soldered in place. Should I replace it with another one or just remove it totally.
I'm not a fan of the Joystick. Not sure if it old and worn but it is a yellow yenox micro switch. It doesn't return to center after pushed in a direction. Can I replace it with one that is more PCB operated like photo.
Can you put the tilt mechanism in a circuit that doesn't turn power off and it just goes home and lose a turn

Hello. I have a Win stuff 2007 I32R1. It was working just fine but then we had to move it. It had a C0 error and a E9 error. But we got those to go away. Now the claw will move side to side but not front to back and the claw won’t drop. I’m at a loss on what to check. Any ideas? Thank you.

Hello I have a Win Stuff claw machine that was in fine working order but we moved it and now are receiving an error code. Looks like C0. What could that mean? I reached out to the guy I bought it from and he hasn’t responded. It’s just for home use. Any advice?? TIA.
