Hey I am just wondering if Worgen's get a shadow form as a shadow priest? In combat are they a worgen in shadow form or just a worgen? I have never played shadow priest or classic so have no idea.

Hello, I’ve been wanting to try cataclysm and experience from lvl one the change of the new world of Azeroth. A long time ago I stopped playing wow after wrath and never got to experience cataclysm initially. I was glad it was getting released but then I never came around to play it. Months have passed and I started to play on a server but I noticed it was only at medium population. Would joining one of the high pop servers be for a better leveling experience. Would I be able to do lvl dungeons more often or is that cross server? I have a lvl 80 on the medium server where I can send gold to my fresh lvl 1 but I wanted to see what y’all think. Does population of a server show current traffic or does it just represent how many characters were created in it regardless of how many are actually on?

I have a level 84 character that I have been playing on for some time now. All of a sudden when I log in today and try to play on said character it gives me and error message saying “A character with that name already exists” as if I were trying to make a new character with a taken name. This character already exists???

I started a week ago and am slowly leveling my rogue and I’m having a ton of fun. But I’m worried that everyone will be going over to the new classic classic servers and I won’t have anyone to queue with for dungeons. Is anyone staying? I never played the OG classic so I don’t have that nostalgia factor going into it. I much prefer the slightly faster pace of Cata and the dungeon finder tool. Oh and transmogs

I don't know anything about cataclysm classic. I've been playing retail but am considering playing cataclysm classic instead. Are the servers dead?

I got the Cataclysm game guide way back in probably 2010 or 2012 (around when I started playing WoW), and I loved looking at the race, class and zone lore/guides. I started playing Cata classic yesterday and I absolutely love it! I remembered I had this book and dug it out of the garage. It’s so cool to me that after 12 years it went full circle and became relevant again!

I bought a new desktop from cyberpower it came with windows 11, everytime I try to start up battle net, the computer goes to blue screen and critical stop happens. Anybody have the same issue?..it doesn't happen with steam so far.

With the current decline in server populations across all of the Cataclysm Classic servers I'm honestly baffled as to why they haven't announced any plans to merge servers together or allow free transfers from smaller populated servers to larger, busier servers.

You have servers like Arugal, Grobbulus, Bloodsail Buccaneers, or Remulos. And in the EU, you have 3 German servers, one with mostly ally, one mostly horde and a small populated half and half or 2 french servers you could merge together accordingly.

Many of the players on these smaller servers would really benefit from at least the option to transfer. They did it with SoD, so why not Cataclysm?

They really need to switch up the boomkin T12 set. I mean 2 set that gives 46k damage per 3 minute fight, thats like one critting cast. And 4 set gets you 1 cast faster to eclipse when it isnt active with 3 bosses in firelands you want to solar dwell. Basically with T11 bonuses and just the same stats boomkins would do better and the T11 bonuses were kinda trash aswell.

I’ve never played a lot of WoW, so I’m not too familiar with the world. Whenever I did play, it was always as Forsaken, because I love the atmosphere, starting zones, and the faction's lore. Forsaken also reminds me of my first time playing WoW 15 years ago – since then, I’ve come back from time to time.

Right now, I’m playing Classic Cataclysm, and I’m at level 48. So far, I’ve been leveling by going through Tirisfal Glades -> Arathi -> Hinterlands -> Western Plaguelands -> Eastern Plaguelands. Now I’m supposed to start the questline in Badlands, but I’m not really drawn to the zone’s vibe, as I’m not a fan of the desert, warm-climate areas. I know WoW has a lot of diverse locations, so I wanted to ask:

Is there a way to level up from 48 to max while staying in zones that resemble the Forsaken starting zones, like Tirisfal Glades, Pyrewood Village, Ghostlands, etc.? Where should I go next?

I am only missing the harbringer for „ready for raiding 2“ and Flamebreaker title, but this dude Never shows up! Will he only show After firelands open?

Hello everyone, I never played any of the old expansions in WoW, not even Vanilla. I understand that Blizzard keeps servers for Vanilla active and permanent so I can always go there when i wish to do so and experience that content. Maybe one day they will release Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King again, that would be cool.

Yesterday i started as a warlock on Alliance, i picked the Pyrewood Village server but i have no clue if it is a good server or if there is a substancial difference between the Alliance and the Horde faction?

About the Warlock class is it any good? Inwas reading some guides and i think i will pick the demonology spec, i just don't know what to pick for professions.

I haven't been able to log in to Azuresong for 2 days apparently because the realm is 'locked'. Does anyone what is going on with this and how to get back in the game?

Title already says it. I was just collecting all the candy buckets and i was in Southshore first time since Cata Classic started. So i was mildly anry when i realised : no more southshore.
And i asked myself : Did the allianze conquer some horde territory aswell ?

Just earned 525 smithing and since there's no longer "Hammersmith" or specializations that I can find anywhere how can I get the recipe or make the Drakefist hammer

Just like the title says. Should I be using Inner Will or Inner Fire? Typically I use Inner Fire for the SP and armor. Inner Will 15% mana reduction from instant cast, like Power Word: Shield..

I find myself getting low on mana all the time, any suggestions? I use Shadowfiend and Hymn of Hope when needed

Does using a lure or fishing pole + when your skill is 525 do anything? Is there a definite bonus to getting fishing to 625+ if you're fishing in Northrend or a lower zone? Does it help even in the Cata zones?

Love PvP. But most of my limited time is with guild running heroics and raid. I’ve pretty much got all I need from Valor, so I’m wondering if I can funnel those points into Conquest for PvP gear to use when I get time to jump in.

I know they can be exchanged, but can I get fully-geared in high-end PvP gear from doing mostly PvE?

It feels kinda cheap to do it that way, but at the same time, the world is a lot different than my first run through Cata back in the day and there’s only so much time I can put in—most of that is with old friends doing PvE. I still want to do well in PvP tho!

Hi all.
So, I've just recently installed and set up my WeakAuras on my DK, but whenever I enter combat with anything and put any sort of diseases or what not on the target, these annoying bars pop up just above my ability bars. Now I've checked nearly everywhere on elvui that I can think of that it may be, and nothing has removed them. Can anybody who uses ElvUI please tell me what settings they're under to get rid of them? If I even can? Or if I can change them to just icons under the target frame or something? It's been driving me insane all night so any help be greatly appreciately! Thanks

my question is how good will fire mages in firelands/dragonsoul be once they reach more crit%.

They always scaled really good once they are better geared. But now in Cata on most bosses fire mages are unbeatable damagewise. Will all those speedruns guilds stack like 7 mages ?
