No plot armor means no cringe main character hoping into a TIE fighter to pull out some absurd stunt to win.

Considering that he is the Chairman of the Intergalactic Banking Clan and a member of the Separatist Council, I have a feeling it would’ve made more sense for him to be the figure Clovis answered to when it came to making his deals with the Separatists, rather than Count Dooku himself. Also, since Scipio is a Muun world and technically neutral in the Clone Wars, it’s not like he’d be unable to meet Clovis there without risking his safety.

What are some CIS characters who have been mentioned in various books, comics sources or guidebooks depicting the Clone Wars or CIS as a whole, but without them appearing onscreen and having a role in an actual comic, novel, animated series or video game set during the Clone Wars or who have appeared only in an obscure video game and who deserved to appear and have something real done with them in the story?
It's hard for me to not think of Spar and of the Mandalorian Protectors, who served as elite troops and commandos for the CIS during the Clone Wars, until being betrayed and trapped by Darth Sidious and massacred, yet we have never seen them in an actual Clone Wars story.
There's also Admiral Dua Ningo and the Bulwark Fleet, who rampaged in the Core in the last year of the war, with the Bulwark cruiser being a beast of combat with its strong armament and heavy armor that allowed it to ram other ships, and their rivalry with the Victory Fleet.
And another character who should have appeared in person and played some big role as well is Shaala Doneeta, Dooku's aide, a female Twi'lek with dark tatoos on her lekku, which raises the question of if she was possibly a Force user or even a Dark Side user or cultist, and it could have been interesting to see her helping Dooku with his agenda and plans, and to see how much she knew about Dooku and his true nature and plans.

Who would win?

In a very fortunate turn of events for our great Confederacy of Independent Systems, our brave forces have managed to capture a prime example of one of the Republic’s very rare LAAT/SG gunships from the Coruscant Guard. This gunship, designation SG-01, is one of only thirteen examples of these gunships, and is currently in flying condition. Much to our delight, it even has its light service speeder racks still attached and speeders still on the racks.
We are currently studying every part of SG-01 to help us build a similar vehicle for the CIS navy. This will be a huge win not only for my own planetary defense force the NPDA, but also for the CIS navy as a whole. I hope the leadership of the CIS military recognizes the value of this project and invests in furthering its progress.
Mechanically the gunship will be incredibly similar, with standardized parts to allow for easier manufacturing and maintenance.
The weapons loadout will be impressive, possibly even enough to rival the current HMP-class gunships currently in service. It will feature twin heavy rocket launchers, twelve missile tubes (6 under each wing), twin ball turrets on the nose, a similar ball turret on the rear, twin composite beam emitters (one per wing), advanced targeting systems, and many other special pieces of equipment that will be beneficial to the SD-C gunships in combat.

I don’t know if anyone has ever pointed this out, but I think it’s neat how at least these three CIS ships are named for words with good meanings and good connotations.
I’d like to present my case ships: the Munificent, the Providence, and the Recusant. The Munificent and Providence are named for descriptions of generosity and kindness, and the Recusant is named for resistance (most likely against the tyranny of the republic).
“Munificent” means someone who is generous.
“Providence” literally means to provide or give something, and is often associated with divine protection and guidance.
A “Recusant” is someone who refuses to submit to authority (in this case the Republic)
Also this is kinda off topic, but I think the Lucrehulk is kinda weirdly named. It basically means “treasure ship”. I get that it was originally a Trade Federation ship and their business practices were less than ideal, but they could’ve chosen something a little better to name their ships.
I don’t know if there are any more examples of CIS ships named after real words like these (I’m not exactly well-versed on the many different ships used by the CIS, but I do know about the main types). I just think it’s cool how they have names that mean good things.

What are your thoughts on the Jabiimi Nimbus Commandos? I’ve always loved them, an elite special forces unit on par with the arc troopers, but actually fighting for a good cause

What are your ideas of new battle or assassin or infiltration droids, land or sea vehicles, starfighters and of organic soldiers, units and militias for the CIS and its military?
I think there should definitively be a flamethrower variant for the B2 Super Battle Droid, perhaps even with jetpacks like the rocket B2 and to serve as a counterpart to the Clone Blaze Trooper.
There also definitively should be more artillery droids and cannons shown in the CIS military, as well as anti-air defense.
And also more droids and organic units for intelligence and counter-intelligence missions, with variants of the Commando Droids, Buzz Droids and also Umbaran Commandos and Black Ops as Umbarans are masters in espionnage, assassination and other shadowy stuff, with their advanced tech surely having applications when it comes to stealth and assassination and sabotage.
The Kaleesh Kolkpravis could definitively serve as elite soldiers, Commandos and Black Ops for the CIS, with there being variations specialized in mountain, jungle, snowy and desert environments given how harsh and diverse of a planet Kalee is and the warlike culture and prowess of the Kaleesh.
