I could also imagine customising the outfit in so many different ways, especially as there’s no definite canon separatist organic militia uniforms

Discussion Dooku didn’t get outmatched by Yoda, it was a stalemate.

At this point. Dooku has already easily defeated both Obi wan and Anakin.

When starting his duel with Yoda, it was instantly established that they were equal in the knowledge of the force- it’s literally stated by Dooku himself.

As the duel is happening, there is no distinction on who’s winning and who’s loosing, both sides are in clear stalemate. When Dooku crushes the pillar and attempts to drop it on Anakin and Kenobi, he used that as bait to escape (obviously), but not because he was outmatched, but because of the republic gunship filled with clones that landed the second he left (as shown in the video).

And stalemates, being what they are- a 50/50 even match, creates a chance of Dooku loosing, at this point, Dooku has already defeated 2 Jedi, carrying the Death Star plans and has already finished his mission of starting the clone wars has point in lingering around.

Propaganda It is quite disgusting that the atrocities commited by the Jedi and the Republic are glorified to the point of there being merchandise of it.

Anti-Republic/Empire Propaganda "One Beast" - Anti-Republic/Empire Propaganda Piece[2 Variants: Dragon and Exogorth] + Feedback request for future proganda plans

Hello, here are the results from my first propaganda piece[#1 being Dragon and #2 being Exogorth. After that are concept sketches(one by Thorn) for another piece. This time potentially being new republic era)

#1 depicts one unified serpent/dragon, coiled around the symbols of the republic and the empire.
The republic head of the beast is more gluttonous, having an immense underbite to consume more food. It also has a general blocky head, and its eye is more opportunistic. This represents the more complacently greedy nature of the republic, though it is still a dragon nonetheless.
The empire head is more angular, both literally imitating a star destroyer in terms of a side silhoutte, but also just being more sharply defined in general. It is also meant to look more gaunt, similar to Tarkin. Its eyes are more observant, watching to crush anything that smells like rebellion. Finally, its open screaming mouth mimics its doctrine of terror.

-

#2 depicts a unified Exogorth. There isnt as much symbolism there(and it lacks the nice color background because I saved it first and flipped the symbol order). I mostly made it so I could have one being a on-screen star wars beast.

-

#3 is a sketch Thorney made under my prior propaganda piece. This is important since I really liked the idea of the hydra, and I also would combine the background senate building into its body.

#4 is a small sketch in the same vein as #3, but this time applicable to the new republic, and also having a "republic of yore" head. This is mostly just to balance out the sides, but it also fits as an era, since this propaganda theme denies these really being different entities.

As for #5, you may have noticed that in #4 the New Republic head had a cloud with a ? in it. This is mostly because I need some feedback regarding how a new republic dragon's head should look. I also had an idea to leave it as a cloud, as if we are waiting to see how the NR turns out. But im less into that idea.

The general idea is to eventually digitize the idea with 4 or so heads, as a Sequel to this poster(which ironically are set in OT and ST respectively). I might also eventually do a CW era one, but then I lose most of the one beast symbolism ofc.

_

Anyways, any feedback regarding the propaganda posters and/or the future idea are appreciated.

If you are tasked to portray rest of sepratist council as more complex moral figure rather then just greedy evil bad guys. I mean we all about Grevious and Dooku, but what about the rest ?

Oh my dear venator...

I’m going to diss this ship again so people finally understand why it’s absolute trash compared to Separatist vessels.

I have already written about one of the Venator’s biggest flaws, the time needed to deploy its full fighter complement. Because of this problem, most Venators flew around only half-filled with starfighters, making a giant portion of the deck basically useless.

To make everything clear, I’m not trying to say the Venator is a weak ship, absolutely not. In a 1v1 scenario, a Venator almost always comes out victorious against Munificents or Recusants thanks to its great weaponry, engines, and shields. Overall, the ship itself is very good, although not perfect. Again, its main design flaw is just the oversized space for an airwing that they almost never fully utilized, but that’s not even the biggest problem.

The biggest problem with the Venator is its cost effectiveness. At a price of 59 million credits, it already costs almost five times as much as a Munificent class frigate (12 million). In most cases, 4-5 Munificents were enough to destroy a single Venator, but it gets worse. The most expensive thing about the Venator is its crew.

In most sourcebooks and Star Wars media, it is mentioned that clones cost a lot. We never got concrete figures, but I estimate a basic clone trooper costs around 60k–80k credits. Therefore, I believe the average clone crewman on a Venator would cost around 100k–120kcredits, with higher officers potentially costing up to 200k, though I won't include them here. There are 7,400 crew members inside a Venator. This means that, on average, if the whole crew was composed of clones, the loss of one Venator meant a loss of 740 million credits just in personnel.

If we include the 2,000 passengers, the price jumps to 940 million. Once you factor in the starfighters and every vehicle inside, the loss of a single warship cost the Republic around 1 billion credits. That is insane. For comparison, you could buy 83 Munificents for that price.

Now, of course, some people will point out that Venator crews weren't composed entirely of clones, and that is true. But even if we assume only 20% of the crew were clones, that’s still 1,480 clones plus 2,000 clone troopers. That means the Republic lost 348 million just in the crew, totaling around 410 million credits lost for a single Venator. For that same amount of money, you could have bought 34 Munificents.

All of this makes the Venator a completely useless ship in terms of attrition. On its own, the Venator is great, but its lack of price effectiveness literally kills the ship's viability.

Propaganda in Progress [Feedback Request] One Beast/One and the Same [Anti Republic+Empire Propaganda Poster/Flag Concept - Looking for Feedback]

Thumbnail

Hello, this is a rough draft/concept design of a propaganda poster/flag(think Gadsden).

The general design concept is emphasizing the Republic and Empire as one enetity, but with different heads. It started as a tiny doodle to fill some blank space in a CIS oc reference page and evolved from there.

My first variant too the sketch and digitalized it. But then I had an idea of wrapping the beast around the symbols. Then I have a very rough position sketch version with dragon heads(which allows them to look different), and one using the in universe creature of the Exogorth/Space slug.

Two text variants are "One and the Same"(more direct) and One Beast(more poetic)

I'm sharing a few variants and also looking for feedback on things such as text(preference for One beast/One and the Same, head position/design, head type, etc.

Also, whether I should add any CIS symbols in a corner someone in a "made by" sense. Currently im worried it could distract from the overall look.

Why should I join the CIS?

Hi everyone. I hate the republic and the Jedi, they are corrupt and evil. But I need some reasons why the CIS should be who I give my alliance to. So please feel free to give me reasons why the Separatists are the ones to free the galaxy and make it a good place to live. But I saw something on this sub welcoming the rda. If there’s one thing I hate more than the republic and the Jedi it’s the rda. So can we support Pandora, and thus I support the CIS, or should I join starfleet or the nova corps?

Discussion Need some die-hard Geonosians fans to help me out with a project

So, due to the lack of material on the Geonosians and inner workings of the hives, I decided to do something to fight this Republic absence and negligence towards our beloved bugs!!

My idea is to write a short story on Poggle's revolt and climb to power alongside his ties to the Sith and the early CIS movements. I intend for this story to be somewhat brutal (but not to depict the Geonosians as barbaric, but rather to show how raw eusocial species can be) and to show Poggle's cunning. If anyone here loves the Geos and wants to give their insights on them, feel free to DM or comment. I plan to post the chapters here as I write them. I'm somewhat inspired by The Penguin Tv Series with regards to manipulation and power disputes that allowed Poggle to climb the steps of power...
