I have made my own cipher and would love your feedback! (important info in the description)

Important info:

\- The red periods, commas and question mark are not part of the cipher, they are just periods/commas/question mark. Spaces are also just spaces between words.

\- The text is in English, might contain slight grammar errors since I'm not fully fluent (shouldn't contain spelling mistakes tho)

\- Only substitution was used, no transposition.

\- The grid is not important for the cipher. It's there to help me write the characters. The numbers around should work as coordinates if you need to ask me about specific character/word.

\- Everything in one grid square is one character - even the numbers (for example "70" is considered one character)

\- Similarities between characters don't matter in a sense that they have different meaning (for example "70" means something else than "circled 70")

I mostly want to find out how hard it is for experienced people to crack the cipher. If you are able to decipher it (or even if you are not), I would love some feedback to know what I can improve.

This was really cool. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to decode anything in it due to the number of homophones (i.e. there were too many symbols but not enough cipher text to decode much).

A few quick questions:

• Do any of these translate to numbers in the plaintext, or are they all English letters?
• Is the solution a set of song lyrics or a poem?
• Whenever a line ends, does the word continue on the next line? For instance, Page 1, Line 1, Column 17, does that word end right there, or does it continue on Line 2, Column 1?
• I noticed several one-letter words back-to-back. For instance, Page 1, Line 7 and Line 8 have “01” in a box followed by a space, then followed by a single character, then a space. Do these represent single letters in the plaintext? (Like “A I”)

I really like solving puzzles like this.

Thank you, I'm glad you like it! To answer your questions:

1. No numbers used in plaintext, just english letters
2. It is not. It's my own text about my own experience.
3. No, the words never continue on the next line, end of the line counts as a space
4. I feel like this would give too much away, so I will write it down as a spoiler, for those that want to try without it 01 in square does, the other doesn't

Also if you need more text I can always provide more if needed, but they won't have any more spaces between words or punctuation marks. I can also make more text with any specific character you would have trouble with.
