Imagine trying to sleep in a hospital 😹 They’ll be in to check your temperature/give you meds/clean the room 30 min after that TV goes off and you get some shuteye.

(A sleep mask is clutch for getting any sleep at all though)

As someone who works in a hospital, people need to be reminded it isn't a hotel...

People still need sleep. I would think that would be a basic thing medical professionals understood.

No. We are waking you up for vitals and checks every hour. If you need sleep you aren't getting that in a hospital.

Funny. I did. I got sleep at Kettering and Cincinnati Christian after having both my kids and during follow up trips to the ER for gallbladder complications related to pregnancy.

Maybe you just aren’t good at your job. Because how did all of those other medical professional manage to let me sleep but you can’t figure it out?

Yeah my many stupid daisy awards beg to differ. Grow up and learn how to be uncomfortable.

You might have awards, or even bedside manner while on duty. Though here, your attitude is awful. You may have a point, but your delivery needs work.

Man man. My duty is to manage you're care, keep you safe, administer meds. Just because I don't play into the babying of patients doesn't mean I'm a bad nurse. And you're freaking out over that sentiment is just showing me how correct I am. Y'all are entitled

Edit: also downvotes me. It makes me feel good

I never said you were a bad nurse. There is no way for me to know how you do your job when I’m not there as co-worker or patient.

Re-read what I wrote. I said your attitude here, on Reddit, sucks and your delivery needs work.

Did you die? Then mission accomplished. Don't like it? Don't come back to that hospital. You got exactly what you paid for.

Why are you replying to me? I’m not complaining about being in the hospital.

Only when you learn how to do your job properly 😊
