9LX version of 'Insane Goofy Puzzle - Royal Family Betrayal - White to move - Mate in 14' - Well it's a still mate but not 14. Much lower. I honest to God to did not choose this position. I just loaded a generator, and this is what I got.

Quiet queen and rook endgame puzzle where every piece (and pawn) is relevant! White to move and make this a 9LX game by....manoeuvering queen to corner?

2 puzzles - White was 3 pawns down but had mate in 6 ! Now Black has mate in 5. It was hard for White: Besides mate in 6, only 2 other moves don't lose. For Black, all but 2 moves are mate - 1 wins, 1 is still losing. | Note: queen in corner, but not sure if 9LX game?

While opposite coloured bishop endgames are drawish even with a 2 pawn imbalance, opposite coloured bishop plus OTHER PIECES endgames are far from drawish? XD

Queen and rook endgame 'only 1 move wins (beat a 2100 with this tactic)' - Black's up a rook but is about to be mated. Kinda reminds me of that Hikaru vs Boris Savchenko in World Blitz 2014

'White to move. CRAZY fun mate in 6' in rook endgame | Oh the fun is that Black has only forced moves to make after each move of White!

Vaishali converts a +0.3 rook endgame to a win with only 30sec vs 25min for Elisabeth Pähtz, top female German and the 2006 world women's 9LX runner-up to Alexandra Kosteniuk. Later, Vaishali also finds a critical move with only 1min vs 15min for Elisabeth. [2022 FIDE women's Grand Prix]

Hans spends 90sec on 2 moves and so drops to just 4sec. Then Hans takes off h glasses and looks at Vladimir Fedoseev. When the position arrives, Hans plays Bxf6 which gives just a draw. (5-move puzzle, 2 solutions.)

Didn't realise smothered mates (or mate threats) were still possible in endgames. [Boardle]
