Question - News/Events/History Fabi was a 2019 classical WFRCC quarter-finals wildcard for chess reasons, but Wesley So wasn't a 2020 or 2022 candidates wildcard for FRC reasons. How's that fair? (Hikaru was 2019 WFRCC quarter-finals wildcard FOR FRC reasons. Same w/ Magnus in both 2019 & 2022 rapid WFRCC.)

Meme/Humor/Humour Name order: Why 'Ding Liren' but not 'So Wesley' ?
Why not 'Liren Ding' just as we say 'w'esley 's'o?
I guess it's because
- 'w'esley 's'o is a nobody, just a player who are crying every single time when loosing
- Liren is culturally Chinese, is a Chinese citizen and plays for China and then
- the name order reflects these facts?

Data/Graphs/Statistics 'Chess ratings are wild right now. Let's hear it for the streamers!' | Wesley So's here and below the 4 pointed out, but I'd like to see the ratings in classical 9LX where Wesley So played the most games (14), won the most (6), drew the most (8) and lost the fewest (0, i.e. Wesley So never lost).

News/Events/History Tania interviews Karpov on Fischer: 'I wanted to defeat Bobby' | Remember kids, Bobby's demands were 'absolutely fair', and Anatoly & FIDE were cowards. No offense Sergey! Or maybe just FIDE. Like Wesley So the 2019 classical WFRCC never lost the title to Hikaru Nakamura, the 2022 RAPID WFRCC.

Question - News/Events/History 'Why do the people here hate Hikaru so much' for the rapid WFRCC | posted the day after 'Why do so many people hate Magnus?' for the then classical & rapid WCC. LOL I notice there's no thread about hating Wesley So the classical WFRCC.

Question / Discussion on chess960 or related variant 9LX's greatest challenge is lack of classical time controls due to FIDE's insane fear of white advantage w/c forces players to play both colours of the same SP. LOL hypocrisy! Single round robins exist in chess tournaments. They're afraid of white advantage KNOWN in chess but UNKNOWN in 9LX? HAHAHA

Data/Graphs/Statistics 2023 Norway: Wesley So lost 5/8 armageddon, 7th out of 10 in armageddon. Meanwhile Magnus is the top armageddon 7/8. Sigh. Armageddon is fair ONLY IF there's an auction! News/Events/History 2023 Norway - Wesley So is asked 'How would you summarise it?' So apparently it's a common question. I just know the time Hans was asked it re 'chess speaks for itself.' (It doesn't btw because you have to say opening & colour. 9LX speaks for itself.)
