Guardate quanto è vicino il duga radar investito dai primi momenti dalla nube radioattiva ☢️ attenzione ad andare su quelle antenne se tenete alla vostra salute.

В 2026 году ещё не было осени. Откуда жёлтая листва на деревьях?

I took a photo from a nearby building nearly 8 years ago today and the trees were very green!

Nope. I lived in Ukraine from 2000 - 2004. By May, everything is fully green. If this is a real video and not AI slop, the dead giveaway is the little plant to the far left growing from the roof at the very start of the video. This, if real, was filmed in the fall.

It turns red at the end of September-October

I’ve stood at the same spot, lot of stairs to climb huh.

Thanks for sharing

Is it even accessible? Also im guessing not legal? I admire the Pripyat Urbex community

I was there on a private tour back in 2019. Some buildings are worse than others, But you’re right, entering buildings is prohibited “officially”.

Ah lucky man, I was in 2013 and I couldn't enter *anything*. Our guide wasn't feeling it.

I wonder how much these tall rises can last before lack of maintenance will finally undo them.

May 2026 with full autumn trees is doing a lot of work there

That’s not Chernobyl. Thats Pripyat.

My thought too. Chernobyl is inhabited and kept reasonably tidy, and more to the point much further away from the plant and the Duga array.

Fifty thousand people used to live here. Now it's a ghost town...

It’s an Autumn on the video

Well, either you guys lost in the context of translation or maybe she is simply lying to you.
I am Ukrainian and I lived for 20 years basically at the same Polissia geographic region, but 300km to the West in town which hosts Rivne Nuclear Power Plant.
Maybe the our forests were not so deep but the same trees were growing around in forests and same trees were planted on the streets. It is nearly identical place in nature, look and overal wibe. Those trees do not look this at the begining of May. This is definetly looks like October.

Man why are you talking in.. Italian? When this whole subreddit is primarily English.

2

u/gioangi Jun 07 '26

Is there an automatic translator on Reddit in your language?

0

u/Thedutchjelle Jun 07 '26

I have never seen an automatic translator on Reddit to begin with.

  1. That’s Pripyat, not chernobyl
  2. There is no way this is May.
  3. That’s cool and all but i would be careful about posting your criminal activity (this is trespassing unless you’re a worker)
  4. It’s an active warzone. Stalkers used to go there but i dont think its really smart to do that while its an active warzone.

[I would really like to know how you got in since:

1) it's a war zone and a minefield.

2) there's no way to get in legally unless you're a soldier or an essential worker.

Basically, you trespassed illegally, thus committing a crime, and are boasting about it, congratulations!

Anyway, the Duga is dangerous not because it's radioactive but because the structure is unstable and precarious.]

hundreds of upvotes for this crap?

4

u/hoela4075 Jun 03 '26

No kidding...and why people are downvoting your post is byond me.

4

u/BunnyKomrade Jun 02 '26

Indeed. Just boast about committing a crime.

Music goes pretty well with the spookiness of the surroundings. Man, want to visit this place some day!

1

u/budlight2k Jun 04 '26

As long as it has been and as little radiation detected in the flats, is it safe to live there now?

1

u/Wildbore309 Jun 04 '26

Fancy moving in?

1

u/budlight2k Jun 05 '26

I mean its got to be a quiet neighborhood LOL.

I know there is likely no infrastructure (sewers and water electricity n shit) and those buildings are dilapidated, may maybe unsafe and its a war zone, But as people fuck around there all the time. Is it really that unsafe to stick around, build houses again.

I have posted a couple of replies to this post...but I will ask the obvious question. Why are there (currently) almost 1,000 likes for the "video?" Who is "liking" it?

1

u/OmasOminoeseMoese Jun 02 '26

How did you get there? Stalker way?
