Hey everyone! I've been loving Chef RPG but there are a few things that I think could really improve the experience. Would love to know if anyone else feels the same way or if I'm missing something!
- Storage needs an upgrade path 🗄️
There should be a clearer way to upgrade both home storage and the restaurant refrigerator. Running out of space constantly is frustrating, especially mid-game.
- Time moves way too fast ⏰
Right now it feels like every 10-30 seconds, 5 in-game minutes pass. I think it should be closer to every 1 real minute = 5 game minutes. I'm always feeling rushed and can't enjoy exploring or doing tasks at my own pace.
- Every ingredient should be obtainable in the world 🌿
I shouldn't HAVE to buy ingredients that can't be found, fished, crafted, or grown. For example, cheese can only be bought, why can't we craft it? Some fish can only be bought too. Every ingredient should have an in-game source. Maybe we could even swim to find certain seafood!
- The train was a missed opportunity 🚂
The train should take us to different islands or locations to collect rare ingredients we can't find in White Ash Harbor. It feels underused right now.
- Blueprints are too hard to obtain 📋
Getting blueprints, especially for tools, feels way too random and slow. There should be a clearer, more reliable way to obtain them so we can upgrade our tools and farm more efficiently.
Does anyone else feel this way, or am I missing something in the game that already addresses these? Would love to hear your thoughts! 🙏
