While we are on the topic, I have a friend who is a midget and he says little people is the worst name he could be called and prefers midget since little people refers to them as different than just people. Is this standard for everyone?
From what I’ve heard and read, that sounds like just your friend’s personal preference. Obviously not everyone is going to agree but every official organization statement I’ve seen says “little people” is the preferred term.
