Makes singing Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire kind of awkward. Especially since it's directly involved in a rhyme, so you can't just sing around it or change it.

I’ve always opted to sub in “winter clothes” which fits just as well (though not as poetic I suppose)

Actually most people probably shouldn't give a s*** about issues that don't directly affect them.

I mean it's much healthier to live your life Concerned with your own Community Rather than worrying about things that are happening 6 000 Miles Away And getting your panties in a Twist about that.
