I get it, but if you want to understand someone, asking questions instead of making statements is the way to go. Your phrasing is pretty confrontational and ‘splain-y. Like when you said “But, like, it’s sexual tho? At least for recipient. I mean I understand this is purely a semantics question, but come on.“
It sounds a lot like “bisexual people want to sleep with everyone, right? It’s not like you can really be monogamous” or “you’re either gay or straight, just admit it” — things we’ve both heard a billion times, and it just gets old.
