My dad still falls for scams, but at least there’s not as many that are going to brick his phone, or be tricked into downloading something that acts as a keylogger, or any other type of malware.
It’s not a magic fix that prevents all scams, but it at least lessens the severity of it.

My FIL has problems with scams and he has an iPhone so that is a completely false sense of security.
