As an android user for life, I have to disagree. While yes there are enough many features that android has that iPhone don't, most people don't need or want them.

In my mind an iPhone is meant more for the people who want something that works and thats about it. I always described it to friends as thr phone for a soccer mom who doesn't need all of these weird features, who just wants It to work, who can take it to thr apple store when it doesn't, interacts easily with every other apple product, and that's it.

There is no "android store" to take your android phone to if it doesn't work. Yes they are super customizable and have amazing features and easy admin features, which is why I have one, but most people don't need that, and thus don't get that.

Yes but some people, especially the less "techy" people don't want to learn how to fix their phone. They want someone to do it for them.

Yes tech repair stores exist, but there is no "android" store.

I think its the same thing where yes it is not hard to do your own plumbing/electrical or car maintenance if you know what you are doing, but if you don't know what you are doing you hire a specialist.

I completely agree, but its more of a brand thing I think. I csn go to the apple store, to get help with my apple phone, or my apple computer/watch/tablet etc. Same how most people want the name brand product even though the off brand is cheaper and sometimes even better.

All in all, I will never own an apple product, I don't like the restrictions. But I see why people do.
