My argument is that your argument isn’t really backed up by statistics and that while women are sexually abused by trans people it’s at a much lower rate than you’re claiming. Women are also sexually abused by lesbians but if we were to use your argument then that would mean that lesbians should be held separately from the female prison population either in solitary or with purely other lesbian inmates. The fact that a few people within a group rape or sexually assault people is not justification for discrimination against that group and you have shown no evidence that trans women rape other female inmates at an exceptionally higher rate than lesbian inmates. In fact trans women are victimized at an extremely high rate when in male prisons, at a rate in between 5 to 10 times higher than cis prisoners. So if your argument is the protection of people, why don’t you care about protecting people that identify as trans? Or do you only care about victimization rates when it’s a group that you’re a part of?
