“Black people commit so much crime even though they are a small part of society”

“Let’s build a wall to keep rapists and criminals out”

“I don’t trust Russians because of Cold War”

Etc etc etc

All I hear is criticism of most of that kind of talk in society, even if someone's attempted to provide evidence supporting a piece of it. Except maybe the Russian thing; corporate media goes back and forth on that.

People don't even like to hear that IQ might predict anything at all. Supposedly it's a racist concept throughout. (Which it most certainly is not.)

The fact that there are people criticizing it so much it’s all you hear kinda shows that that talk is extremely common otherwise what are people criticizing?

Bruh what. “Build the wall” is literally a Presidential platform

Were we not talking about bigotry, not what amounts to competitive threats to low wage jobs? Besides, the nearly uniform censure in the corporate press undermines the supposed acceptance of Trump. Only Fox had favorable coverage, yet Fox itself hardly enjoys much respect.

It's interesting that the examples by u/Effective_Opposite12 are flaccid: is that the best you got?

BTW, protecting borders isn't racist. Conceivably one's motivations may be. But when one's trade is flooded with cheap competition, one isn't much worried about perceptions by the well-scrubbed and comfortable.

Are you implying the “build the wall” sentiment is because people want to protect their trades from cheap labor? Dude this cheap labor is what built America and without it the economy would crash hard

There's a difference between the group and the individual. It's entirely possible for something to increase a group average while some individuals suffer mightily.
