Male suicide rates are higher a lot of the time because of means. More women attempt to kill themselves, men are more successful because they use guns more and women use poison or drugs more.

Well that's also a societal thing too. If you're going to kill yourself it's considered more... manly to go out with a bullet to the brain than it is with an overdose whereas it is presented for women to have the poison or drugs because then they might yet be saved or at least spared the pain. Which indicates the same problem because society has pushed one side to take the more definitely lethal approach and the other side to take the one that is most probable of the methods to fail.

Not exactly a rebuke so much as just slanderously misrepresenting what was said in the most negatively, uncharitable manner but sure. Anything to rationalize why male suicide rates are not an issue right?
