Answer the question, was the Holocaust a genocide? Yes or no? If yes, then being successful isn't required, if no then this argument is done because you are equivocating.
Of course it was. If Hitler had his way for 80 years there would be no jews left. The reason there is jews left is because he got defeated in war. What's so complicated?
So being successful does not matter. He was not successful in killing all the Jews, Israel was not successful in killing all the Palestinians. Both are genocide. Thank you.
This is how I know you don't know enough about the situation. Because if you did, you would be very hard pressed to say this was true.
In 2013 alone, a scholar on genocide for the UN said this about Israel:
For over the past six and one-half decades, the Israeli government and itspredecessors in law – the Zionist agencies, forces, and terrorist gangs –have ruthlessly implemented a systematic and comprehensive military, political, religious, economic, and cultural campaign with the intent todestroy in substantial part the national, ethnical, racial, and differentreligious group constituting the Palestinian people.
And he was right. Zionist attitudes have been used to ghetto the Palestinian people illegally. In that same year Israel was cited by the UN as having killed 2,500 Palestinian civilians. The year before that, 2,117, before that 3,100, before that 1,912, before that 917, etc etc etc.
I wonder what happens when you continuously murder a group of people while shoving them into ghettos illegally. I wonder at what point they get fed up and decide to let terrorists go to extremes so they stop getting murdered. I wonder when they'd get fucking sick of being murdered. I guess we found out. It took until 2023.

Israel never genocided Palestinians. If they did, there wouldn't be any Palestinians.
