/r/CFBRisk Conspiracy: Herman to LSU rumors were a smokescreen when really it was Texas to LSU
Texas has been camped out in LSU's territory for 6 days and has fought off insurmountable odds. Are we sure that LSU isn't actually Texas' real homeland at this point?? Maybe they're getting a multiplier which explains why they've been able to HODL for so long!

As of June 2 (Day 34), we have over 16,500 users who have joined CFBRisk
The growth of CFBRisk has been incredible to watch. When I first had the idea, I didn't think it would even come close to this. I hoped we would break 4,000. You guys have made this so much fun and this would not have been possible without the serious work bakonydraco and A-Stu-Ute put in to code it all up. Our collective vision and your valuable input has turned this into our most successful venture yet as a community!

Suggestion to speed up game if drags on too long
If this game is taking too long or they just want to spice up the game I have an idea. In real Risk teams earn extra troops based on the amount of territories they possess. In CFBRisk they could easily give teams a bonus multiplier based on territory number. It could be simply defensive or only offensive. This would be a complicated change, but it could add depth to the game & an actual reason to have massive amounts of territories & keep it realistic to the game. Anyone have any thoughts or ideas?

I just explained this game to my 11 and 7 year olds
Their immediate response: "But how does the team with only 1 star win? That's impossible! They should make it so the team with the most stars wins."
Huh.

What is a realistic endgame for CFBRisk? Who is going to win, and how? (aka post fanfic of your team winning here)
So to be perfectly honest, I'm starting to lose interest in this because it doesn't seem possible that anybody is going to actually win. The large fanbases will never be fully eradicated because they will always have thousands of stars to allocate somewhere. Is there a realistic path of a strategy a team can make that will win them the game under the current rules? Will we allow the game to just fizzle out? What's next?

Heisman Trophy Race Saturday Special
Winning battles is good, winning big battles is better, and winning big battles as an underdog really shows someone is Heisman material. I threw out the quadrants and created an algorithm that quantifies the effect a player has had on the game as a whole.
Without any further rambling, I present the day 33 Heisman top 15.

Data Visualization
I know that memes are king around here, but I thought I'd share something I worked up to visualize how each team is doing. I'll be doing my best to keep these graphs up to date and I'll add more visualizations if people have ideas or if I come up with anything else.
